A backyard spa or plunge pool sits behind a house, a fence and usually a set of powerlines. A crane must reach over all three from the street.
- Deep blocks put the pool well beyond a mobile crane's rated reach.
- Street setup means road occupancy permits and traffic control.
- Fences, eaves and landscaping frequently have to be removed and rebuilt.
